Our children are so happy there and excited to go to school each day, we feel so lucky they are at the NWO Montessori! Plus, as both of us are full-time working parents, NWO Montessori’s before- and after-care services are so convenient, it’s been great all the way around.” “The NWO Montessori has given our two sons the best combination of warm, caring teachers with a creative, engaging and challenging curriculum. Two of our children have attended NWO Montessori and there’s no question they are the better for it. They are attentive and experienced enough to know when students are struggling, and often why. They aren’t content with simply regurgitating coursework and letting the children find their way. “The teachers at NWO Montessori truly care about the students. Miss Abby has been reviewing basic vocabulary like food names, colors, numbers, and basic phrases. We are excited for this program to continue into the school year. This summer, Miss Abby began Spanish immersion lessons at lunchtime. The student above is working on addition problems and the student below is reviewing teen numbers. This is a special year for the BGECLC as our very first elementary students started 1st grade with Miss Laura! Our Lower Elementary students are excited about the new units offered in 1st grade. Rolling rugs, practicing circle time, and exploring the practical life shelves are just the beginning for what is proving to be a wonderful year for both students and teachers. Our Kindergartners have been wonderful role models for the younger children as we review how to learn in a Montessori environment. He loves spending time with his family and friends, but enjoys connecting with new people too.The classroom was buzzing with excitement this week as we welcomed new and returning students to the 2015-2016 school year. In his free time, Chase enjoys trying new food, reading books, and listening to Led Zeppelin. He worked as a freelance writer for various local papers including the Sentinel-Tribune in Bowling Green, the Advertiser-Tribune in Tiffin, and the Fremont News-Messenger to name a few. His work with BG24 earned him multiple local and national recognitions, including a pair of Touchstone Awards from the Press Club of Toledo.ĭuring his time in college, Chase worked in radio at WFOB in Fostoria, where he covered high school football and basketball. ![]() He covered a variety of stories, from NCAA tournament games to Black Lives Matter demonstrations to Donald Trump's 2020 campaign stop in Toledo. Chase later became the news and sports director of the student television group BG24. He got his first experience in front of the camera anchoring short newscasts at WBGU-TV. ![]() While at BGSU, Chase participated in newspaper, television, and radio. He went on to graduate from Bowling Green State University in 2021 and holds a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism. Born and raised in Whitehouse, he's a 2017 graduate of Anthony Wayne. Chase Bachman started his career at 13abc in April 2021.
